Subject: Bush's accomplishments
Watching National Security Adviser Condoleeza Rice defend the Bush administration during the televised hearings, I thought of at least three things the president did accomplish with war in Iraq: First, he joined Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein in American minds as allies in the 9/11 attacks; second, he united France and Germany in opposition to U.S. Iraq policy; and, third, now he seems to have united the Sunnis and Shiites--long bitter adversaries--as allies against the American intervention. This is quite a president!
