Fair Kristi died 01/13/2000 surrounded by friends and family. Born Kristi Gallon on 09/24, 1946 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kristi was raised in Berkeley and Santa Barbara and resided in Santa Ynez and Santa Barbara continuously from 1984. An ardent and talented painter, potter, weaver, landscaper, writer and woman who could do almost anything, Kristi dreamed to, and in large measure did, change the way people viewed their world through her art. She could name and paint any color in God's great world. Preceded in death by her father Art Gallon, she is survived by mother June Gallon, three sons, Ty, Brent, and Blake, four grandchildren, Ty, John, Patricia and Nora, sisters Tracey Vedder and Cheryl Samuel and their children and grandchild, and husband Ken Falstrom and his family, all of whom will miss her radiance, teachings and sensibilties. Donations in her memory may be made to the Tri-Counties Blood Bank or to The Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara in lieu of flowers. A remembrance will be held Wednesday, 01/19/2000, at 12:00 Noon near the playground at Shoreline Park. "To capture a moment in time is to live!" KB
